Linguado Capoeira München was founded in 2007 by the brothers Contra Mestre Toupeira and Professor Fominha, both from Recife (PE). The name was chosen to honor their early deceased first Mestre, Professor Jorge Linguado, from the Academia Arte Viva in Boa Viagem (PE). Toupeira, Fominha and Linguado Capoeira München are dedicated to disseminating the rich culture and traditions of Capoeira. The group mainly plays Regional and welcomes everyone, beginner or advanced capoeirista, in the roda.
