There are three different academies that have regular classes in Boulder: Capoeira Luanda(regional)
Canto do Galo (regional) and a angola academy associated with Joao Grande with classes held at C.U.
If you are willing to drive near DIA there is a new branch of Capoeira Angola Palmares. So you really don't have to drive all the way to Denver. Drop in prices range from $5.00 to $15.00. I suggest you get a few friends together and carpool.

hello forte,

Canto do Galo used to have a couple students up in fort collins; but they took off a few years ago and the club they had at csu shutdown.

we Currently have one tuesday class in boulder at 7pm just off of pearl street. we are trying to get more going in boulder but theres only a handful of us that live in boulder and since we have a studio its not worth paying to use someone elses unless we have more people showing up... if your interested come to a class on tuesday and keep coming... that will help us expand our boulder schedule.

Our studio is in denver on 9th and santa fe classes everyday but sunday.
you can look up the schedule at.

theres a couple clubs at cu boulder and an ex-capoeira brazil group (Capoeira Luanda) in denver, i think they might have some classes
at a park in boulder...
and yea.. theres bambu who just moved into town somewhere down near dia ( i think he's closer to stapleton, the old airport)

if your just trying to check out capoeira for the first time i would suggest showing up at our studio on a saturday at noon for one of our intro classes, than you can stick around and do the regular class if your having fun.

My Girl will be moving up to fort collins for school in a few weeks... so i might be up there on a fairly regular basis...
